7-hour Initial Training – Introduction to Basic Concept in Dental Radiography


The 7-hour initial training is offered through a home-study course.  Work through the modules, then complete the Post Test and return to TDS for grading. 

Once you pass the Post Test, you're then ready to complete the in-office clinical training (60-day limit).  Have your doctor sign the affidavit that comes with the manual and packet, return it to TDS and you will receive a Radiography Class Record that is then sent in with your Dental Assistant Radiographer Certificate application to the Ohio State Dental Board. 

Cost for the Initial Training course is $65 for TDS members' staff; $115 for non-TDS members' staff ($50 of which is the manual deposit, which is refundable after the manual is returned). 


 

2-hour Radiography Update – X-Ray Basics and Troubleshooting Errors with Sheri Sauer, C.O.D.A., C.D.A.


2010 marks the end of the biennium for dental assistant radiographers to renew their radiographer certificates with the Ohio State Dental Board. 

Produced by the Columbus Dental Society with Sheri Sauer, C.O.D.A., C.D.A. instructing, this 2-hour continuing education DVD program titled "X-Ray Basics and Troubleshooting Errors" is available for viewing at the Toledo Dental Society office. 

The cost for members' staff is $45 per person; non-members, $65 per person.
